Thai curries have been one of Pascal Haag's favorite dishes
since his first trip to Thailand. Thai curries are traditionally
made with pastes. However, especially in our part of the world,
it is often very difficult to get fresh and organic ingredients
to make a paste yourself. If you read through the ingredient
lists of ready-made pastes, you quickly realize that there are
often several preservatives listed and most of them also contain
shrimp paste or fish sauce. That's why Pascal took on the SoulSpice
challenge of developing a spice blend as a good alternative to
traditional Thai paste. He worked on this spice blend for a long
time to achieve the wonderfully fragrant, authentic taste of Thai
cuisine. We think he has succeeded wonderfully!

Thai Currys gehören seit seiner ersten Reise nach Thailand zu Pascal
Haags Lieblingsgerichten. Klassisch werden Thai Currys mit Pasten
hergestellt. Doch gerade in unseren Breitengraden ist es oft sehr schwierig
frische und biologische Zutaten zu bekommen um selbst eine Paste herzustellen.
Wer die Zutatenlisten von Fertigpasten durchliest, merkt schnell, dass
oftmals mehrere Konservierungsstoffe aufgelistet sind und die allermeisten
davon zudem Garnelen-Paste oder Fischsauce enthalten. Deshalb hat Pascal
sich der Herausforderung von SoulSpice angenommen, eine Gewürzmischung als
gute Alternative für die traditionelle Thai Paste zu entwickeln. Lange hat
er an dieser Gewürzmischung getüftelt, um den herrlich duftenden authentischen
Geschmack der thailändischen Küche hinzubekommen. Wir finden, es ist ihm
wunderbar gelungen!
