Do you remember last year's catalogue? A year ago, we started to introduce you to our producers there. We are convinced that knowing who made a product, where and how, changes our relationship with it. This year, we wanted to follow our own curiosity and travelled to the north of Portugal. There, we visited the Kitchener Items production facility and three Portuguese producers. We open a window for you to the westernmost country in Europe: Portugal. One of the largest textile industries in Europe can be found there on the Atlantic and the country is known for its craftsmanship and expertise in the field of high-quality clothing and home textiles.

For all those who are holding this catalogue in their hands for the first time, it should be mentioned again that almost our entire range comes from sustainable production and from independent small producers.

We believe that knowing where a product comes from and who makes it influences the way we look at it. Because we don't simply throw away what we value when a new season starts or a new trend is just around the corner.

Dieses Jahr wollten wir unserer eigenen Neugierde folgen und reisten in den Norden von Portugal. Dort besuchten wir einerseits die Produktionsstätte von Kitchener Items und drei portugiesische Produzent:innen. Wir öffnen für Sie ein Fenster zum westlichsten Land Europas: Portugal. Eine der grössten Textilindustrien in Europa findet sich dort am Atlantik und das Land ist bekannt für Handwerkskunst und Fachwissen im Bereich hochwertiger Bekleidung und Heimtextilien.

Für alle, die diesen Katalog zum ersten Mal in den Händen halten, sei nochmals erwähnt, dass fast unser ganzes Sortiment aus nachhaltiger Produktion und von unabhängigen Kleinproduzent:innen stammt.
