Tonka beans have a flowery, sweet aroma and their taste is
reminiscent of vanilla and almond. Tonka beans are used in
fine desserts and sweet dishes.
Tonka beans can be used to refine creams, cakes, sweet pastries
or ice cream. Its delicate floral note is particularly good in
panna cotta or crème brulée, for example. But you can also refine
savory dishes such as red cabbage, pumpkin soup or mashed potatoes
with the wonderful taste of tonka beans.

Tonkabohnen haben ein blumig-süßliches Aroma, ihr Geschmack erinnert
an Vanille und Mandel. Die Tonkabohne findet Verwendung in feinen
Desserts und Süßspeisen.
So kannst du mit Tonkabohnen Cremes, Kuchen, süßes Gebäck oder Eis
veredeln. Besonders gut macht sich ihre feine blumige Note beispielsweise
in Panna Cotta oder Crème Brulée. Aber auch herzhafte Gerichte wie
Rotkraut, Kürbissuppe oder Kartoffelbrei kannst du mit dem wunderbaren
Geschmack von Tonkabohnen verfeinern.
