orker Lauren Martin. Show you how happy this slice of sandwich bread is, let you
listen to the enchanting laughter of this toothbrush and invite you to have a
good time with this mischievous-eyed soccer ball. Lauren Martin doesn't limit
happiness to mere living beings. The illustrator, a graduate of New York's
Fashion Institute of Technology, turns everyday objects into cute, easygoing
companions. Anthropomorphism and devastating dynamism are the two legs on
which the American's work gambols, runs and jumps for joy. A welcome reminder
that it's always possible to be happy. Even when you're a bottle of ketchup.

(EN): KIBLIND is a quarterly magazine dedicated to visual culture and contemporary illustration created in 2004.
Since 2017, KIBLIND Store has extended the magazine's artistic project through the publishing and production
of posters, books and illustrated objects, drawing on a selection of talented artists from all over the world
and using printed know-how, in particular risography.
Risography is a cold printing technique similar to screen printing, which is particularly eco-friendly. It is
based on a layer-by-layer treatment of colors and the use of direct tones, more intense, more radiant inks,
made from vegetable oil and without solvents.

(DE): KIBLIND ist ein vierteljährlich erscheinendes Magazin, das sich der visuellen Kultur und der zeitgenössischen
Illustration widmet und 2004 gegründet wurde.
Seit 2017 erweitert der KIBLIND Store das künstlerische Projekt des Magazins durch die Veröffentlichung und Produktion
von Postern, Büchern und illustrierten Objekten, wobei sie auf eine Auswahl talentierter Künstler aus der ganzen Welt
zurückgreifen und das Know-how des Drucks, insbesondere der Risografie, nutzten.
Die Risografie ist ein dem Siebdruck ähnliches Kaltdruckverfahren, das besonders umweltfreundlich ist. Sie basiert
auf einer schichtweisen Behandlung der Farben und der Verwendung von Direkttönen, intensiveren, strahlenderen Farben,
die aus Pflanzenöl und ohne Lösungsmittel hergestellt werden.
