Donkey’s milk contains vitamins, proteins and fatty acids very important
for the skin. Its effect on the production of collagen and its antioxidant
properties promote cell regeneration and delay aging of the skin. Among the
many benefits of using these products are the increase in firmness and
elasticity of the skin.
These soaps are also very effective in reducing and controlling the symptoms
associated with dermatological diseases such as psoriasis, dermatitis and
eczemas.

(EN) The goal of the Portuguese Brand Tomelo is the promotion of local sustainable development through (re)descovery of raw materials or other local potentials actually not used at all, creating aded-value for the comunitty and land.
Tomelo, Eco Desenvolvimento, Lda established in 2006, is since then an active participant in several projects for the development of North East region of Portugal mainly in Vimioso e Miranda do Douro. The most remarkable initiative is the production of Donkey Milk Soaps made out with milk from the only Portuguese Donkey bread, actually threatened of extinction.
Milk of Donkey contains Vitamins, Proteins and Fatty Acids that stimulate the production of Collagen in human skin. In addition, Donkey’s milk also has antioxidant properties that slow the ageing of the skin. Thus, among the benefits of using these products are the increase in firmness and elasticity of the skin.

(DE) Das Ziel der portugiesischen Marke Tomelo ist die Förderung der lokalen nachhaltigen Entwicklung durch die (Wieder-)Entdeckung von Rohstoffen oder anderen lokalen Potenzialen, die eigentlich gar nicht genutzt werden, und die Schaffung eines Mehrwerts für die Gemeinschaft und das Land.
Tomelo, Eco Desenvolvimento, Lda. wurde 2006 gegründet und ist seitdem aktiv an mehreren Projekten zur Entwicklung der nordöstlichen Region Portugals beteiligt, vor allem in Vimioso und Miranda do Douro. Die bemerkenswerteste Initiative ist die Herstellung von Eselsmilchseifen, die aus der Milch des einzigen portugiesischen Esels hergestellt werden, der eigentlich vom Aussterben bedroht ist.
Eselsmilch enthält Vitamine, Proteine und Fettsäuren, die die Produktion von Kollagen in der menschlichen Haut anregen.
