Peanut Tofu 100 gr

This tofu is a speciality of Nagasaki, brought by buddhist monks in the 17th century, as well as zen vegetarian cuisine.
Although it is called tofu, peanut tofu does not contain soy. That is why it can be kept at room temperature for up to one year.
This peanut tofu is made traditionally in the city of Sasebo (Nagasaki) with wild kuzu, brown sugar from Kikai island and local peanuts.
Freshly harvested, the peanuts are sun dried and then peeled by hand before being carefully grinded into a made-in-house peanut paste.

This tofu has a subtle flavor of peanut and a smooth texture that reminds of pudding.

Use : Peanut tofu can be used in a lot of dishes : as a starter with a salad and a trickle of dashi soy sauce, as a dessert with honey,
kinako or cocoa powder, as well as for breakfast with fruits and nuts. This product suits both vegetarian and vegan diets perfectly.

Dieser Tofu ist eine Spezialität aus Nagasaki, die im 17. Jahrhundert von buddhistischen Mönchen mitgebracht wurde, ebenso wie die vegetarische Zen-Küche.
Obwohl er Tofu genannt wird, enthält Erdnuss-Tofu kein Soja. Deshalb kann er bei Zimmertemperatur bis zu einem Jahr aufbewahrt werden.
Dieser Erdnuss-Tofu wird traditionell in der Stadt Sasebo (Nagasaki) mit wildem Kuzu, braunem Zucker von der Insel Kikai und lokalen Erdnüssen hergestellt.
Die frisch geernteten Erdnüsse werden in der Sonne getrocknet und dann von Hand geschält, bevor sie sorgfältig zu einer hausgemachten Erdnusspaste vermahlen werden.

Dieser Tofu hat einen feinen Erdnussgeschmack und eine weiche Textur, die an Pudding erinnert.

Verwendung: Erdnuss-Tofu kann in vielen Gerichten verwendet werden: als Vorspeise mit einem Salat und einem Spritzer Dashi-Sojasauce, als Dessert mit Honig,
Kinako oder Kakaopulver, sowie zum Frühstück mit Früchten und Nüssen. Dieses Produkt eignet sich sowohl für eine vegetarische als auch für eine vegane Ernährung.
