grown from non-genetically modified seeds, without harmful chemicals.
-All of Kowtows garment labels
are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 approved organic cotton.
Their swing tags are made from certified GRS recycled organic cotton card,
a by-product of their fabric offcuts,
attached with a certified organic cotton cord.
-The natural rubber elastic is finished with responsibly-sourced natural rubber
encased in Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) approved organic cotton.
-Processed using Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) approved inks and dyes,
free from chlorine bleach, toxic heavy metals, formaldehyde and aromatic solvents.
-Sewn with industry-standard polyester cotton thread,
which we are committed to replacing with a natural alternative by the end of 2023.

Kowtow
Vom Samen der Baumwollpflanzen über die Ernte, den Transport zur Fabrik und dem Spinnen bis zum fertigen Kleidungsstück überwachen die Leute von Kowtow, dass ihre Standards erfüllt werden. So wird nur Baumwolle verwendet, die zu 100% Fairtrade zertifiziert ist. Das bedeutet unter anderem, dass die Rechte der Farmer und Farmarbeiter, sowie die der Fabrikarbeiter zu 100% respektiert werden. In der Fabrik in Kolkata, wo Kowtow Kleidung hergestellt wird, bekommen die Arbeiter neben einem angemessenen Lohn bezahlte Krankheitsausfälle und Ferien, eine Krankenversicherung, bezahlte Schule für ihre Kinder und Transportmöglichkeiten zur Arbeitsstelle.
