Hasegawa has set itself the task of bringing nature, manufacturing and the flow of things back to their roots. As a result, the design often appears simple as well as unusual and experimental. The Lucano ladder is far too beautiful to be tucked away in a dark corner, but the practical folding function still allows the stepladder to be folded up conveniently to save space. With its aluminium frame, the Lucano stepladder is particularly stable and extremely elegant at the same time.

Hasegawa hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die Natur, die Herstellung und den Fluss der Dinge zu ihren Wurzeln zurückzubringen. Dadurch wirkt das Design oft einfach, aber auch ungewöhnlich und experimentell. Die Lucano-Leiter ist viel zu schön, um in einer dunklen Ecke versteckt zu werden, aber durch die praktische Klappfunktion lässt sich die Trittleiter dennoch bequem und platzsparend zusammenklappen. Mit ihrem Aluminiumgestell ist die Lucano-Stufenleiter besonders stabil und gleichzeitig äußerst elegant.
