The "Stadtjäger" consists of 100% organic pork,
from pigs that have lived a happy life high above the city
and now delight dry sausage lovers from all over the world.
Der «Stadtjäger» besteht zu 100% aus Fleisch von Bio-Schweinen,
die hoch über der Stadt ein glückliches Leben geführt haben
und nun Trockenwurstfreunde aus aller Welt entzücken.
The "Stadtjäger" is a dry sausage from local production.
It consists of one hundred percent meat from organic "city" pigs.
The sausage is handmade in small batches and is a Zurich city product from start to finish.
The pigs grow up with the Götschi family on the Waidhof.
During processing, one whole pig is cured at a time,
which means that the finest meat, such as kidneys or fillet, ends up in the sausage.
Among other things, this leads to the characteristic taste of the "Stadtjäger".
The entire processing, refinement and drying of the sausage takes place within the city limits of Zurich.
When buying the sausage in the city of Zurich,
the total logistical distance is therefore less than 25 kilometres!

Der «Stadtjäger» ist eine Trockenwurst aus lokaler Produktion.
Er besteht zu hundert Prozent aus dem Fleisch von Bio-Stadtschweinen.
Die Wurst wird in kleinen Chargen handwerklich hergestellt
und ist von Anfang bis Ende ein Zürcher Stadtprodukt.
Die Schweine wachsen bei der Familie Götschi auf dem Waidhof auf.
Bei der Verarbeitung wird je ein ganzes Schwein verwurstet,
wodurch edelstes Fleisch wie Nierstück oder Filet in der Wurst landen.
Dies führt unter anderem zum charakteristischen Geschmack des «Stadtjägers».
Die gesamte Verarbeitung, Veredelung und Trocknung der Wurst findet innerhalb der Stadtgrenzen Zürichs statt.
Beim Kauf der Wurst in der Stadt Zürich beträgt
die logistische Gesamtdistanz somit weniger als 25 Kilometer!
