by Nirox Romão aka Diron Animal, released on Brussels-based Rebel Up! Records. Born in
Cazenga, Angola, and formerly part of Throes + The Shine, Diron channels his personal
grief—especially the loss of his nephew Tonilson—into a sonic manifesto against oppression.
The album blends afrohouse, kuduro, disco, funk, and coupé-décalé, with lyrics in English
and Portuguese. Collaborations with Moullinex and Alex D'Alva add depth to this vibrant,
politically charged dance record

Rebel Up! Records. Geboren in Cazenga, Angola, und ehemaliges Mitglied von Throes + The Shine,
verarbeitet Diron seine persönliche Trauer – insbesondere den Verlust seines Neffen Tonilson
