Bergamot, the crisp citrus top note, provides a green
and vigorous opening. Beneath lies fruitful, bright heart
notes of sweet Fig, Neroli and Magnolia. It is rounded
off with subtle base notes of Floral Musks and unwilted
Woods. Inspired by Minnie Ripperton’s song ‘Les Fleur'
which graced our radio airwaves in 1970, this green floral
scent is an unbound celebration of life, love and creation.

für einen grünen und kräftigen Auftakt. Darunter liegen fruchtige,
helle Herznoten aus süßer Feige, Neroli und Magnolie. Abgerundet
wird der Duft mit einer subtilen Basisnote aus blumigem Moschus
und ungebräunten Hölzern. Inspiriert von Minnie Rippertons Lied
Les Fleur", das 1970 im Radio gespielt wurde, ist dieser grüne,
blumige Duft eine ungebundene Feier des Lebens, der Liebe und
der Schöpfung-

(EN) Founded in 2016, Maya Njie Perfumes continues to explore the intertwining of scent and memory in high-quality artisanal perfume blends. Extracted, filtered and bottled are personal moments, through which the wearer creates their own feeling, attachment and meaning.
The fragrances of Maya Njie are blended as recollections of memory; scents that seek to capture the essence and preserve the spirit of the intimate and personal. Elusive moments and subtle details, those that would otherwise have slipped from consciousness, are remembered. The tones are of a time and the accords nostalgic, yet the end products feel profoundly contemporary. Memories from Maya’s dual Scandinavian and Gambian heritage are reconstructed by way of scent.
As a self-taught perfumer, her practice was developed through experimentation; the blending of raw materials with a variety of essential oils, aroma compounds and resins; nature and science combining in autobiographical fragrances.
(DE) Maya Njie Perfumes wurde 2016 gegründet und erforscht die Verflechtung von Duft und Erinnerung in hochwertigen handwerklichen Parfümmischungen. Extrahiert, gefiltert und abgefüllt werden persönliche Momente, durch die der Träger sein eigenes Gefühl, seine Bindung und seine Bedeutung schafft.
Die Düfte von Maya Njie werden als Erinnerungen gemischt; Düfte, die die Essenz einfangen und den Geist des Intimen und Persönlichen bewahren wollen. Flüchtige Momente und subtile Details, die sonst aus dem Bewusstsein verschwunden wären, werden in Erinnerung gerufen. Die Töne stammen aus einer bestimmten Zeit und die Akkorde sind nostalgisch, doch die Endprodukte fühlen sich zutiefst modern an. Erinnerungen an Mayas doppelte Herkunft aus Skandinavien und Gambia werden in Form von Düften rekonstruiert.
Als autodidaktische Parfümeurin entwickelte sie ihre Praxis durch Experimente, das Mischen von Rohstoffen mit einer Vielzahl von ätherischen Ölen, Aromastoffen und Harzen; Natur und Wissenschaft verbinden sich in autobiografischen Düften.x
