The Mizu Konro No. 2 is a very stylish Japanese charcoal grill made of steel,
designed for outdoor activities.
With a weight of 4.0 KG and thanks to the robust metal construction, it is easy to transport.

The special features of this Mizu Konro are the water cooling and the "steamer effect":

*The bottom of the grill is filled with water. This keeps it cool
and can be placed on any surface, e.g. directly on the lawn.

*The food is "steamed" by the small glowing pieces of charcoal and ash that fall into the water container at the bottom,
which fall into the water container at the bottom and produce steam.

*The "steaming" in combination with the infrared glow of the charcoal keeps the food nice and juicy.
the food stays juicy and crispy at the same time.

-The Mizu Konro No. 2 is the stylish and ideal barbecue for camping or a picnic
- and also as a table grill for 4 - 6 people!

(EN) The Konro I Shichirin I Robata grills are used in the (top) gastronomy as well as by (ambitious) hobby cooks. They are very popular because of their compact design, light weight and the constant heat over the entire grilling surface, which they give off over a long period of time.

The special feature of these Japanese charcoal grills is the material diatomaceous earth, a natural product made from fossilised remains of plankton. The diatomaceous earth is fired in Japan for several hours at 1000 degrees, creating a kind of ceramic with very high heat insulation properties.

The production of the Shichirin I Konro I Robata Grill is done in Japan in small factories and largely by hand. Each grill is therefore unique. Some grills are framed with fine metal panels. This gives the charcoal grills a simple aesthetic that is typical of Japanese handicraft products.

The Japanese charcoal grills are popular for indoor BBQ among chefs and hobby cooks alike. The grills are compact and lightweight and fit under almost any bonnet. So you can grill even in the winter months.

The people from Margoni Grill discovered a Japanese charcoal grill at a market on a trip to Japan and took it with them on the plane to Switzerland in their hand luggage. They were very enthusiastic about this "Shichirin" from the very beginning, whether it was Japanese, Korean or Swiss BBQ!

A few years later, they travelled to the "epicentre" of "shichirins" on the Noto peninsula and visited the craft workshops for "shichirins" there and brought various models back to Switzerland and tested them.
