Edwin wurde 1947 in Japan von Mr. Tsunemi gegründet. In den Anfängen wurden bei Edwin Denimstoffe aus den USA zu bequemen Jeans verarbeitet. Ab 1951 stellte das Label dann auch seine eigenen Denims her und brachte 1961 die erste eigene Jeans auf den Markt. „Old wash“, „Stone wash“ und „New vintage“ – alles Erfindungen, die die Welt des Denims revolutioniert haben und alles Innovationen made by Edwin. EN: Edwin was founded in 1947 in Japan by Mr. Tsunemi. In the beginning, Edwin used denim fabrics from the USA to make comfortable jeans.
