A semi-dry cider made from fruit
from trees in and around Neunkirch that are no longer used.
They are remnants from the scattered fruit belts that used to surround the villages.
They guaranteed the inhabitants a supply of vitamins through the winter
and a breeding and resting place for the beneficial insects on which agriculture relied at the time.
The typical Swiss cider apple varieties, with their balance of perfume, acidity and tannins, make for a pretty taste,
acidity and tannins make for a pretty, animating cider,
in contrast to its bitter brethren from Brittany.

Ein halbtrockener Cidre aus Obst
von Bäumen in und um Neunkirch, die nicht mehr genutzt werden.
Sie sind Überreste aus den Streuobstgürteln, welche früher die Dörfer umgaben.
Sie garantierten den Bewohnern eine Vitaminversorgung durch den Winter
und Brut und Raststätte für die Nützlinge, auf welche die Landwirtschaft damals vertraute.
Die typischen Schweizer Mostapfelsorten sorgen mit ihrer Balance aus Parfüm,
Säure und Gerbstoffen für einen hübschen, animierenden Cidre,
im Gegensatz zu seinen bitteren Brüdern aus der Bretagne.
