The team at Worm Up have set ourselves the ambitious goal of ensuring that no more organic waste ends up in normal waste, where the valuable nutrients are destroyed in the incinerator or contribute to methane gas formation in landfills.
WormUp is developing practical and stylish worm composting systems for households and communities. With the help of worms, organic waste is conveniently and odourlesslyrecycled at home into a nutrient-rich biofertiliser. Natural cycles are thus closed in urban areas.

Das Team von Worm Up haben uns das ambitionierte Ziel gesetzt, dass kein Bioabfall mehr im normalen Abfall landet, wo die wertvollen Nährstoffe in der Verbrennungsanlage vernichtet werden oder auf Deponien zur Methan-gasbildung beitragen.
WormUp entwickelt dazu praktische und stylische Wurmkompostierungs-systeme für Haushalte und Gemeinschaften. Der Bioabfall wird mit Hilfe von Würmern bequem und geruchlos zu Hause zu einem nährstoffreichen Biodünger recycelt. Naturkreisläufe werden so in urbanen Gebieten geschlossen.
