Noëlle Kim makes wonderful Vases, bowels and cups. Her workshop lies in at the bottom of our "house-mountain" the Gurten. We are particularly fond of her sawdust firing.

In this method of firing, the objects are fired in an open fire for 4-5 days after biscuit firing.
The firing is carried out with almost no oxygen reduction. Smoke (carbon) develops as a result,
that penetrates the material.
